These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Deals DMV auction and liquidation marketplace. By creating an account, bidding, buying, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — placing a bid or completing a purchase is a binding commitment.
- Every bid is a binding offer to buy at that price; you cannot retract a placed bid.
- The highest bid when a lot closes wins, subject to any reserve or seller confirmation.
- Last-minute bids may extend a lot's close time (anti-snipe) so all bidders get a fair chance.
- Terms are accepted once when you create your account and apply to every bid you place.
- Winning bidders and Buy Now purchases must pay the total due, including any buyer premium and taxes.
- A default payment method may be required before bidding on eligible lots.
- Unpaid invoices past the payment deadline may forfeit the item and limit future bidding.
- Most lots are local pickup within the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) on the scheduled load-out window.
- Inspect items at pickup; condition is described as-is based on the manifest and grading shown on the lot.
- Return eligibility, if any, follows the policy stated on the individual listing.
- Do not use bots, shill bidding, or any method to manipulate prices or interfere with other bidders.
- Provide accurate account and contact information and keep your credentials secure.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
The platform and items are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
