Searching and browsing

Type an item, pallet or brand into the search box at the top of any page. Results are ranked by how well they match, with words in the title counting most.

Search ranks by meaning as well as by matching words, so a search for one name can surface the same thing called another.

Yes. The search page covers live auction lots, Buy Now listings and closed results.

Category, location, buying format, sort order and condition. Only choices that match something on that page are offered.

Use Sort by and choose Price: low to high, or Price: high to low.

Choose Newest first under Sort by.

On an auction listing, choose Ending soonest under Sort by. It is offered only where auctions are listed.

Auction (bidding only), Buy Now (fixed price), Make Offer (you propose a price) and Hybrid (an auction lot you can also buy outright or make an offer on).

Tap that condition's chip under the filters. Only conditions that some listing on the page actually has are shown.

It shows only listings held at the building you choose, so everything you see can be collected from the same place.

Yes. Searching on a filtered page searches inside what you filtered, and every filter stays in the address so you can share or bookmark it.

Buy Now items have no closing time, so sorts that only make sense for auctions are left out there.

Yes. Save the search while signed in, and we email you when new items match it.

On the categories page, which groups everything we sell and links to each category.

Everything in that category has sold for now. New stock arrives regularly, so check back or save a search for it.

Shop shows everything; Auctions shows lots you bid on; Buy Now shows fixed-price items only.

Lots closing soon, live auctions, Buy Now deals and popular categories, so the most time-sensitive things are first.

For common shopping words, yes: search knows Spanish words such as "juguetes" (toys), "zapatos" (shoes) and "ropa" (clothing).

No. Search ignores accents, so typing creme also finds crème.

Yes. The language menu at the top translates the site with Google Translate into Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, French, Chinese or Korean. The translation is machine-made; the English page is what counts.
